K C Palanisamy (born 7 December 1959) is an Indian politician, former Member of Parliament (MP) and Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Tamil Nadu (TN). A former member of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), he served the Dravidian party founded by former Chief Minister (CM) of Tamil Nadu, late Dr. M G Ramachandran (MGR) on 17 October 1972.

When the police call someone who was involved in violence in the Legislative Assembly, it is stirring to note an incident where a person, who was arrested, disclosed something that happened in the Legislative Assembly publicly.

On the same day in 2001, severe violence erupted in the Legislative Assembly. Today, on the same day, the most significant security measures are being implemented within the Legislative Assembly again. On December 13, 2001, Lashkar-e-Toiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed extremists conducted an attack on the Indian Legislative Assembly building in New Delhi.

It’s one of the darkest days in Indian history. At that time, severe criticisms were directed towards the BJP government. It prompted countries around the world to rethink about terrorism. Twelve people lost their lives in this attack. On December 13, 2001, five extremists stormed into the legislative assembly compound, similar to the attack carried out by the then-political figure, Sticker.

It’s referred to as India’s Black Day. It led to a strained relationship between India and Pakistan. The remembrance day of this attack is today. On the same day, this attack is taking place.

During the Legislative Assembly’s winter session, two people managed to sneak in by carrying grenades, creating a tense situation.

They brought in grenades hidden within themselves. They exploded these grenades within, causing havoc. Carrying prohibited items, they barged into the Assembly, throwing hand grenades and making slogans.

When the police called the person who was detained, he revealed another shocking incident. He had hidden a live snake wrapped around him. He released the snake to create panic. When the police called him to come, the scenes were captured on the camera.

They are called ‘snake bombers’. They only bring in snakes. However, there is no threat to life. They are primarily used in weddings, DJ events. They are as small as 250 ml water bottles. They carry out these attacks by concealing them. These snakes are available in many shops and even in major stores. They are easily available online. It is a method of attack that cannot be easily identified. It appears as a tear gas grenade but releases smoke like a snake.”
