Why have the people of Tamil Nadu not yet accepted that the AIADMK has left the BJP alliance? AIADMK former MP KC Palaniswami has given an explanation in this regard.
In this regard, he posted on Twitter, “Why have the people of Tamil Nadu not yet accepted that the Edappadi-BJP has left the alliance?
Anti-BJP votes are not only minority votes but also at all levels beyond the minority. But EPS believes that only minorities are anti-BJP. DMK is reaping that majority of anti-BJP votes. No attempt was made to pull it towards AIADMK.
The delay in sanctioning the corrupt activities against the former ministers by the Governor and the central BJP taking action only against the DMK and not taking any action against the former ministers creates a suspicious view among the people.
In 2018, Mr. K.C. Palaniswami expressed the opinion that AIADMK should do politics against the BJP, and for that, EPS removed him from the party. But KCP has been travelling in anti-BJP mode till date. But so far, no agreement has been reached with him. If EPS is really committed to its anti-BJP position, it can travel with KCP.
The public did not accept him as credible given his past history with EPS. The accusation that they are doing caste politics instead of policy-based ideological politics is strong against them.
AIADMK is unable to prepare the party for fast-paced field politics to build a united and strong AIADMK, and the ideological politics of BJP vs. DMK (Hindutva vs. Dravida) are being built. Will Edappadi Palaniswami realise this and act?” he said.
