EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND<\/h6>\n

K.C Palanisamy is an accomplished politician who has served as both\u00a0the\u00a0Member of Parliament and as well as the Member of Legislative Assembly in India. He was born in Chennimalai, Erode District, Tamilnadu and has a strong educational background, having earned Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In his early school days, K C Palanisamy was\u00a0motivated and was inspired by MGR \u2018s mission and vision. At the age of 9, he first met MGR during the by-election campaign for Perundurai constituency., Tamilnadu, India This was the point where K C Palanisamy realized that he must follow the path of MGR and had the ability to formulate opinions and views about society. His political career began at the age of 13. It was In the year 1972, he joined AIADMK as a party member.<\/p>\n

POLITICAL CAREER<\/h6>\n

K.C Palanisamy served as the MLA from Kangayam constituency in Tamil Nadu\u00a0from 1984 to 1988. He has also been\u00a0the Member of Parliament for Thiruchengode constituency from 1989 to 1991.\u00a0\u00a0K.C. Palanisamy is affiliated with AIADMK and is known for his commitment to serving his constituents and promoting policies that benefit the people.<\/p>\n

ACHIEVEMENTS<\/h6>\n

  • Extensive experience in Tamil Nadu politics, starting at the age of 13 with the AIADMK party.<\/li>\n
  • Handpicked by former CM of Tamil Nadu, late Dr. MGR, as Deputy District Secretary of AIADMK\u2019s Youth Wing at the age of 23.<\/li>\n
  • Elected as the party\u2019s youngest Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Kangeyam constituency in Tirupur District in 1984.<\/li>\n
  • Successfully contested in Assembly election as Member of Parliament (MP) in 1989, chosen by late\u00a0Puratchi Thalaivi AMMA Dr. J. Jayalalitha, with the second highest vote difference nationally and highest\u00a0difference in the state.<\/li>\n
  • Was instrumental in bringing ADMK party together\u00a0during Jay\u00a0Ja factions in 1989.<\/li>\n
  • In 1996 again stood by\u00a0Puratchi Thalaivi AMMA Dr. J Jayalalitha\u00a0during rebel\u00a0factions\u00a0in the party\u00a0threatened leadership.<\/li>\n
  • United the rebel faction to the leadership of AMMA, KCP played a key role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Since 2016 fighting for inner party democracy restoration. Rights given by MGR and Amma to elect the General Secretary by cadres opposed by KCP.<\/li>\n
    • 2016 when Sasikala was elected by GC as GS KCP first one opposed in EC and stopped it.<\/li>\n
    • In 2017 EPS & OPS modified bylaw as leader can be elected by GC KCP opposed which made them to modify.<\/li>\n
    • 2021 EPS OPS got undemocratically elected opposed which resulted in 2022 to modify by law as GS by party members.<\/li>\n
    • Still 10 DT sec to propose and 10 DT sec to second and to contest one has to be HQ off bearer for 10 yr etc are being opposed by KCP.<\/li>\n
    • Eventually object of KCP is democratically elect GS by members as it was in MGR and Amma regime like primary elections.<\/li>\n
    • KCP takes part in leading broadcast channels debates interviews and gives critical opinions on TN politics and national politics.<\/li>\n
    • KCP objective is MGR legacy to continue people of TN should be given good governance.<\/li>\n

      Caste, religion politics not to be allowed. Corrupt free. Govt with welfare measures to people like in MGR regime.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      KEY ISSUES AND CHALLENGES ADDRESSED<\/h6>\n

      In addition to his political achievements, Palanisamy is known for his work in bridging the OPS and EPS faction of the AIADMK party after the death of late Puratchi Thalaivi AMMA Dr. J Jayalalitha in 2016. He played a key role in bringing the broken factions together which helped stablizing the party.<\/p>\n

He has been working to build confidence among party cadres through various public meetings Zoom meeting on every Wednesday and Sunday. Palanisamy is committed to empowering and boosting diverse populations towards common goals with a vision to emerge as a leader amongs the cader of  AIADMK party.<\/p>\n

      Palanisamy’s honesty and integrity have earned him the support of a large cadre base and amongs the public in Tamil Nadu. He is passionate about forming an AIADMK government in the 2024 parliamentary elections and winning all 39 seats in the state.<\/p>\n
