Prime Minister Modi consecrates Ram temple despite opposition from Shankaracharyas – K.C. Palanisamy

The Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, is scheduled to be consecrated on January 22.

Invitations have been sent to leaders of various political parties across the country to attend the event. The Uttar Pradesh government is making intense arrangements for the event, and 8,000 VIPs, including Prime Minister Modi, Union ministers, ministers, and opposition leaders, have been invited.

In this context, former MP K.C. Palanisamy has questioned, “Is this your ideology that Prime Minister Modi is consecrating the temple despite the opposition of the Shankaracharyas?”

He said:

“Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) leader D.N. Annamalai is fighting for the release of temples from the control of the Hindu Religious Endowments Department in Tamil Nadu. He says that each temple can be managed by a group of people from the respective area or by religious organizations.

But in the center, Prime Minister Modi is consecrating the Ram temple despite the opposition of the Shankaracharyas. Is this your ideology?

Is Annamalai speaking without knowing? Or is Prime Minister Modi acting against Annamalai’s opinion?”
